Some of our best-selling styles are made from the sustainable recycled fiber called REPREVE®. Made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, we use REPREVE® for all of our textured swimwear. Manufacturing these fabrics offsets the use of new petroleum, leads to fewer greenhouse gases being emitted than conventional swim fabrics, and conserves water and energy in the process. This New York Fashion Week, we were honored to receive Unifi’s REPREVE® Champions of Sustainability Leading the Change Award. The “Leading the Change” category is the first of its kind, recognizing Mara Hoffman’s longtime commitment to reducing environmental impact through conscious fashion.
