At MH, we prioritize the materials that align with Our Approach, that do better by the environment and the people wearing our clothes. Sometimes the options we’re looking for are right in front of us and sometimes they’re a little harder to find.
Teaming up with other organizations has been imperative to achieving our sustainability goals. One such organization, the Lenzing Group, our production partners and innovators of TENCEL™, has allowed us to broaden our options and utilize fibers that align with the intention of our designs.
In our current Fall RTW collection, we’ve incorporated two Lenzing cellulosic fabrics, TENCEL™ Luxe and TENCEL™ Lyocell. Sourcing this fiber through the Lenzing Group ensures the plant-based materials used to create the fibers are being sourced ethically: if the fiber comes from wood pulp, Lenzing ensures it’s coming from sustainably harvested trees rather than endangered forests.
